About Faux Wood Arches

Arches and eyebrows are available in faux wood, real basswood, natural woven wood, cellular, and pleated styles. Cellular arches add insulation while pleated arches provide light control. Both offer beauty to any decor and are available as stationary or movable, and as perfect half circles, irregularly shaped half circles, or perfect quarter circles. Faux wood Arches are also available with movable louvers to allow for light control or with traditional, fixed louvers.

Perfect Half Circles

Perfect half-circle shaped faux wood arches can be ordered without a template. The width must be exactly twice the height of the window opening. Perfect half-circle arches are available in movable and fixed faux wood arches.

Perfect Quarter Circles

Faux wood arches are also available in perfect quarter circles. This is a quarter of a circle shape where the height and width are equal. Quarter circle arches are available only in fixed faux wood arches.

Palladian Arches

A Palladian arch consists of straight sides for part of the height and a traditional arch shape that fills the rest of the window. Faux wood Palladian arches require a template to get the shape correct.

Movable Louvers

Faux wood arches are available with moveable louvers to adjust both light and view. The louvers on faux wood arches can be rotated individually to allow precise light control.
