LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY
For claims against this Warranty, Vista Products, Inc. at our discretion, will repair or rplace, any part of our custom made ALUMINUM HORIZONTAL, WOOD HORIZONTAL, VINYL HORIZONTAL, VERTICAL BLIND, ROLLER SHADE, PLEATED SHADE, CELLULAR SHADE, OR PANEL TRACK (herein after called BLIND) found to be defective as a result of faulty workmanship or materials for as long as the original purchaser owns the blind. The Warranty does not apply to any blind or parts thereof, which fail due to accident, alteration, improper care, abuse, neglect, normal wear, normal color fading due to sunlight, direct exposure to salt air, or failure to follow proper instructions for measuring, installing, or operating the blind. Exclusions include but are not limited to cord and ladder and all fabric types. Cord and ladder replacement after three years is considered normal wear and tear. All fabrics are covered for a period of five years. Wood and Fauxwood products have a tendency to eventually warp when exposed to the elements. We consider this normal wear and tear, and therefore are not covered by this Warranty. Customers should be aware that colors vary from dye lot to dye lot, and may not match sample swatches or colors from previous purchases. In the event there are multiple blinds in same room, only the defective blind will be replaced. This Warranty is limited to blinds installed in residential dwellings and only those blinds manufactured by Vista Products, Inc. Damage incurred during shipping should be reported within 30 days or credit could be denied.
TO SUBMIT A CLAIM UNDER THIS WARRANTY, THE PURCHASER MUST SHIP OR DELIVER THE BLIND TO THE MANUFACTURER IDENTIFIED BELOW, TOGETHER WITH THIS WARRANTY. The purchaser will bear the cost of transporting the blind from its location to the manufacturer’s location, and return transportation to the purchaser’s location after the repair or replacement has been completed. Vista Products is not responsible for costs associated with taking down or reinstalling the product.
Vista Products, Inc. will not have any liability for defective Blinds other than repair or replacement provided for in the Warranty. Vista Products, Inc. will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damage.
NOTE: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitation or exclusion regarding such damages may not apply. Also, this limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
