Pattern Orientation

The pattern in the Averté Natural Fold™ runs vertically. The pattern in the valance runs horizontally. Classic valances wider than the maximum width of the pattern will be split and butted together.

Scale & Proportions
All of the Contempo Cornice™ patterns have been scaled to appear proportionate at any width. The total height (8” tall) is consistent across all widths. The short point of the pattern will vary due to the scaling.

Custom Style Patterns:

Contempo Cornices™ can be cut to any custom pattern. Match an arch in the room, copy a scrolling scallop on a piece of furniture or echo that unique angle in the wallpaper.

Just send in a complete template of the pattern that you have in mind. Be sure to indicate “top” and “front” on the template.

Valance Returns
All Contempo Cornices™ come standard with Valance Returns at no extra charge. The fringe or gimp of a Contempo Cornice™ continues over the valance return.

Cornice Only vs. Cornice with Shade
When a Contempo Cornice™ is ordered with a shade it is already attached to the shade’s headrail and requires no additional installation.

When a Contempo Cornice™ only is ordered, it comes with its own headrail.

“L” Brackets are included for OUTSIDE MOUNT Contempo Cornices™ Only.

2-Inch Screws are included for installation of INSIDE MOUNT Contempo Cornices™ Only.
