Measuring
for Graber Traditions Real Wood Plantation Shutters
Window Opening Measurement (Inside Mount with Hang Strips or Z-Frame)
Measure the width at the three points and the height at the three points. Use the smallest width and height measurement.
NOTE: At least 1 3/4" flat surface is needed on each side of the window for an L-Frame.
Confirm the window is square.
Measure the diagonals. If the difference between the two measurements is greater than 1/4", an outside mount shutter is required
Frame to Frame Measurement (Outside Mount L-Frame Only)
Place a sample of L-frame on the window frame or wall to determine frame-to-frame placement.
Measure frame-to-frame width at three points and frame-to-frame height at three points. Use the largest width and height measurements.
NOTE: If flat surface around the window is less than 1 3/4" for an L-frame, measure as a frame to frame order.
