Product Considerations
Divider Rails: Divider rails are used to provide additional support and light control. Can be ordered as an option to create a double hung look or for decorative effect.
Wood Shutters: Wood shutters panels over 72" tall will have a divider rail installed at the center of the panel (2 1/2" or 3 1/2" louver +/- 1 1/2"; 4 1/2" louver +/- 2") unless specified on the order form. Divider rails may be ordered on panels less than 72". Divider rails require a least two louvers in each section. Maximum number of dividers rails is two.
Bi-Fold Panels: When the area in front of an opening is limited, a bi-fold panel can be used. The panels are hinged together and fold to one side (see shutter drawing above).
Rabbet Stile: used when two stiles meet, this feature creates a build in light block.
Tilt Bar: The factory will position the tilt bar in the center each each panel.
Color Disclaimer: Due to the natural characteristics of wood, colors may vary slightly. To ensure proper color matches, shutters being mounted in the same room should be ordered at one time. Slight variations in color may also occur between the finished product and the color samples/literature. |
